The General Artificial Intelligence Proficiency Institute ("GenAIPI," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website at GenAIPI.org or engage with our services, including the AI Transformation System, live instructor-led training courses, self-paced learning modules, AI proficiency assessment tests, certification programs, and fractional Chief AI Officer (fCAIO) engagements.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Personal Information
We may collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when you register for an account, complete assessments, enroll in courses or live training, engage with our AI Transformation System or fCAIO services, or contact support.
2.2 Assessment and Performance Data
We collect test responses, domain-specific scores (AI Thinking, AI Knowledge, Prompt Engineering), certification status, certificate IDs, course progress, and skill proficiency metrics.
2.3 Live Course and Training Data
When you enroll in live instructor-led training courses, we collect enrollment details, attendance records, workshop outputs, and certificate of completion records.
2.4 AI Transformation System Data
For organizations engaging with our AI Transformation System or fCAIO services, we may collect organization details, department-level AI readiness assessments, engagement metrics, and team training records.
2.5 Automatically Collected Information
We automatically collect device information, IP addresses, usage patterns, and browser cookies when you access our services.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use information to provide and improve our services, process transactions, generate certification credentials, personalize your experience, analyze trends, communicate updates, and protect platform security.
4. Sharing Your Information
4.1 Service Providers
We work with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, including payment processors (Stripe), email service providers (SendGrid), cloud hosting and storage providers, analytics services (Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel), and customer support services. These providers have access to your information only to perform these tasks and are contractually obligated to protect your data.
4.2 Third-Party AI Tools and Processors
In delivering our AI training and transformation services, we may use third-party AI tools and platforms as subprocessors:
- AI language models (such as OpenAI) may be used in interactive chat features (e.g., the Gena AI assistant). Your input text is sent to the AI provider for processing.
- We only send the minimum data necessary. Personal account data (email, payment details, certification records) is never sent to third-party AI models.
- Our AI provider agreements prohibit use of your data for training their models.
- All third-party AI integrations are subject to contractual data processing agreements, encryption in transit, and regular security review.
- Certification scores and assessment results are calculated by our own scoring systems, not by third-party AI models.
4.3 Enterprise Customers
If you access our Services through an enterprise or organization account, we may share your assessment results, progress data, and certification status with the administrator of that account.
4.4 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, address fraud, or protect user safety.
4.5 Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
